After playing .500 basketball for nearly a month, the SMU Mustangs have strung together three victories in a row as their quest for another regular season conference title continues.

The Mustangs may have slept through the first half of this Sunday afternoon affair (12 first half turnovers, 0 points from Nic Moore, went into the break trailing 29-28), but the final frame belonged solely to SMU, who outscored Tulane 46-24.

SMU had runs of both 11 and 13 straight points in the second half, led by their quadruplet of double-digit scorers – Ben Moore (16), Sterling Brown (15), Shake Milton (14), and Jordan Tolbert (11).

Three Stars

First star: Ben Moore – 16 points, 12 rebounds, 3 steals

Second star: Sterling Brown – 15 points (6-9 FGs), 5 rebounds, 4 assists
